Utah is where I’m from, where I raise my family and where I’m going to stay. I’d be honored to represent my fellow Utahns in Washington.

Jenny Wilson is a fifth-generation Utahn, mother and community member and an elected official who has delivered for Utah.

In 2004, Jenny became the first woman elected to the Salt Lake County Council, where she is currently serving her second, six-year term. On the Council, Jenny has worked across party lines to forge consensus on issues affecting the daily lives of all Utah families. Jenny has led numerous policy initiatives including ethics reform, protecting Utah’s trails and waterways, tackling the opioid crisis, and criminal justice reform – all while keeping the County budget balanced.

Jenny Wilson served as the Chief of Staff to Utah’s U.S. Congressman Bill Orton and was a senior leader on the Salt Lake Olympic Games staff. She is a graduate Salt Lake City’s East High School, the University of Utah and holds a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University. She is the daughter of former Salt Lake City Mayor Ted Wilson and Kathy Wilson, an artist and small business owner. Along with her husband, Jenny is raising two teenage sons.

If elected, Jenny promises to hold an in-person town hall in each of Utah’s twenty-nine counties during her first year in office. Her Senate office door will be open to Utahns, not lobbyists.
